    Keith, personally I am not a big fan of flushing these old car radiator and cooling systems. I am sure others will reply as well with their views.
    It does look like your car needs a coolant change. For that I recommend Zerex G05 50/50 premix for all older corvettes C1, C2, and C3.

      I second the Zerex G05 antifreeze with distilled water. I flush and rinse the system with distilled water only. If you can remove the block drain plugs, this will give you the best results.
