My experiences with these valves is from what I own, I have a 67 427/400 an a 69 427/435. My understanding is CV736C were used on all corvettes from again what I know 67 427 except the L88 which used a road tube, and all 68-69 with the exception of 68-9 L88 they used a CV746C. From 1967 through about the middle of 1969 production they were machine bodies then they went to a stamped valve. Both my corvettes have machined valves but I have an end of June 1969 Z/28 that has a stamped CV746C. 1969 Z/28's also used a CV746C. The CV746C valve was used on anything with a cam which created low vacuum. CV736C valves were used well after 1969 but I don't know what the exceptions were for those years.
