    1960 wiper "park "

How do you adjust (?) where the wiper blades park on a 60 ? I just had the wiper switch cable out and freed it up ( it was seized and wouldn't turn/move at all.) it works fine now , motor runs fine . But when you shut it off ( turn knob on wiper switch) it just stops , blades may be down , blades may be up . How do i adjust it to stop in the correct down position ?

Assuming your wiper arms are correctly oriented on the splined shafts, the wiper motor switch inside the motor controls the parking feature so that the arms will always return to the proper full down position. The ST-12 has the procedure. Check out post#4 in this thread. I just repaired one of these. Dan

Sounds like there is an issue with the motor as it should move to the park position as Dan says. Once it moves to the park position the wiper arms can be positioned correctly just above the lower windshield trim and should always move back to that position once the switch is turned off.
