Hello All,
I am helping a friend with a wiper problem on his 62. It seems he turned on the wipers the other day and when he shut them off, they didn't. He shut the car down at home and the next day the battery was dead, I took a look and to be safe I disconnected the ground and when I checked the continuity to ground from the motor (with the ground wire off) there was continuity from the threads for the motor mounting bracket to ground. Not the bracket but inside the threads so when the screw is attached the motor is grounded. I have no idea what this is. I also disconnected the 12 volt feed from the ballast resistor so there was no chance of a current draw which I also checked and there was none. Any help is much appreciated.
