I hope every one is having a great week!
I have enclosed the before and after pictures of my door panels of my 1959. Could you imagine a brand new Corvette with that Tourquoise interior and exterior...wow!
I finally restored and replaced my inserts and painted my panels Black. Installed in the car today and was very impressed with the look. The problem is that I cannot open the car door from the inside. It seems that the slider insert/metal insert, repositioned the slider so that it could not retract as much as before, hence not allowing the door to open. I have to use the outside door handle.
Question: Would bending the door rod remove the slack that will allow the slider to open from inside? Any suggestions?
Thanks to all!
Tony
