63 correct shocks?

Attached are pictures of the shocks on my 63 split, which appear to be correct, but I am not sure about the dates for judging. The rear is 8 C 62, which I am assuming is March 8th of 1962. The front is 10 A 62, which I assume is January of 1962. Is this how the dates would be decoded? If so, is this correct for a December 1962 build date for NCRS judging?

10 A 62 decodes to: 10 = October A = first week 62 =1962

8 C 62 decodes to: 8 = August C = third week 62 = 1962

I would say "yes".

Thanks Michael, this is great news. Where did you find those date decoders? I only found casting codes and Delco Electronic codes in the Judging Manual. Are there any other date codes that differ from these three that I should be aware of?
