I just switched to NCM/American Modern insurance this year after being with American Collectors for 25+ years. Adam Boca at NCM saved me some money and the coverage was better. It seems like American Collectors costs have increased. I agree with Don; you may want to consider switching over.

I can't sing the NCM praises enough, when the front was knocked off my split window by an uninsured, undocumented alien driver they stood tall and funded a wonderful repair of the car with no questions asked.....there was even a magazine article written about it. It was a LOT of money.

Apparently American Modern is underwriting them now. I've been with American Collectors for 39 years. I called them directly and was greeted by Anita Perez (really nice lady). I mentioned the same things you guys are talking about. She spent at least 15 minutes with me and explained a few things to me. Bottom line- she saved me $132. One of the reasons was a discount for being a member of NCRS.
Felt like the old days. Talking to people to communicate, instead of totally relying on the computer for communication. Those opportunities seem to be becoming more and more rare.
