    I believe that reproduction actuators have a slightly different configuration and that the tubes are not the same as originals. The tube is at a different angle. I would keep the originals as long as they are working. It is only original once.

      Bob, thanks for the feedback. I had one already on order and installed it for a trial fit. The shaft on the new replacement is a different length than that on the original. Consequently, the door in the heater box would not close all the way. If you made an adjustment to the door linkage so it would close, then the door would not close all the way in the other position. I don't think you can make any modifications to make it work like the original.
