1963 Kick Panel Screw Questions

I am installing new kick panels on my 1/4/63. I have two questions:

1. What is the screw layout on the kick panel? I know there are the three screws for the metal trim. But what are the locations of the other screws? In the Forum, I've read there is only one other and then there are posts that say there are 3-4 other locations. A picture of the locations would be helpful.

2. I just purchased a screw set from Corvette America and it came with 14 pieces. However, they look nothing like the pictures on the various posts on the Forum. Pictures of the correct screws would also be helpful.

Gerald, do you have the AIM for your '63? There is a sketch in the '64 AIM that illustrates the location of the screws for the kick panels - each panel takes two types of screw. I suspect the '63 AIM also has a similar or identical sketch.

When you check the AIM look carefully at the screws which hold the carpet as opposed to 3 screws that hold the metal, in 64 these are two different types.
So it was a mix of #9 & 8 for 64, would expect 63 was similar. Additionally 63 had running changes, so I still have not answered your question.

I am attaching an extract from an old Paragon catalog. It is the same as the AIM illustration that Alan posted only it is larger - it only shows the kick panel. Hope this helps.
