    65 hood release adjustment

I’m preparing my black ‘65 for PV and its doing fine except for the spring back of the hood release. Its an original bracket and pull that I’ve restored and lubed, and the latches and cable seem to function with no binding. There must be a trick, cause I’ve got bracket to work fine when uninstalled, but it binds when installed.

    Any help would be appreciated

Leif, there are two, one on each latch, they create the resistance you feel when you pull the handle.
OK, those two. Thanks Michael. I thought I was missing something i.e. a spring on or near the pull handle or somewhere else. My handle doesn't return on it's own...I have always just pushed it back in. Never knew any different. Can't remember any of my former C2 returning by themselves either. Thanks, again.

Thank you Mike. I'll give that simple solution a try. Appreciate your input.
