Re: 1063-1964 hood
NO!!! The '63 hood has depressions the thickness of the "cookie sheets" so they fit flush with the hood surface when installed. The new molds for the '64 hood eliminated these depressions.
A '64 hood will certainly work on a '63, but forget installing the cookie sheets on a '64 hood.

In a word, no. 63 has two indents: one that touches the edge of the cookie sheet and the styled indent spaced further out. 64 lacks the indent that drops the cookie sheet flush.. Plus the earlier 63's had the alignment blocks that are gone by 64.- Top

No, there is an inset area molded into the fiberglass on the 63 hood that the grilles fit into. They insets are not on a 64 hood.- Top

Re: 1063-1964 hood
Yes, the 63 hoods have a double-depth indentation with the lower portion holding the cookie sheets that a 64 does not have and on the flip side, depending on the VIN, there are various states in 63 of "slick" side ribs, ribs with two hood blocks, later four hood blocks, then NO hood blocks but with the holes for the blocks plugged and patched.
Original 63 hoods are HARD to find in decent shape, it took me 4 months to find an original (thanks to Rich Mozzetta) and it needed minor repairs.
Corvette Image will sell you a gray or white glass repro for about $1,500 bucks that would be preferable to a 64 hood ,mounted on a 63 IMO.- Top

I just happen to have mine out right now. Here are some pictures of what that extra indentation looks like.
