I got to know Ed about about 15 years ago when we sold him the 1968 British green L89 convertible with 1300 miles. When he was loading the car on his enclosed trailer he accidently closed the back door on the car antenna. I kidded him about that for many years, especially if others were at the museum when I asked them when they walked by the cars in the same row, if it looked like the antenna was bent. He was a great guy to trade stories especially about certain C3 cars. He certainly will be missed. RIP my friend.

            Re: Ed Foss

I met Ed at Auction Week in Arizona in the 90's. At BLOOMINGTON in 2002, I was the ''SURVIVOR'' Judge for Scoot Freese's 67, 21000 + 350hp AC Coupe and Ed was driving the 65 Green / Saddle Fuel 1500 mile car behind us and Teresa drove the white 68 L-88. We went out 15 miles and then stopped for a break before driving back. We all laughed about the 65 backfiring but how it got better with miles.

A great person that I respected . He loved cars and car people. RIP my friend
