Second Paint Code For 82 CE

I know the paint code for the exterior of the 1982 Collector's Edition. What is the code used on the instrument panel/center console? It is some type of dark bronze. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is my understanding that GM didn't start putting the RPO code or Service Parts Identification Decal in Corvettes until 1984. My car is the 1982 Collector's Edition. Am I mistaken?

I emailed the museum and asked them. They referred me to an archivist lady but she said she couldn't help me. Since I am only an hour away I might get more results in person. Thanks for your help, Mr. Perry.

The build sheet from my '82 CE (January build) says
TC DBRN in Box 60.

Thanks Brian. I think my best bet is to see if a body shop can color match it and then I can repaint the parts I need. My back shelf tray (if that is the correct word) is pealing and it appears to be painted in the same color as the center console. Can you verify on your CE?

If you're referring to the molding pieces shown as Part #1 in this drawing,
then yes, they are the same dark brown/bronze as the center console.
I will suggest that you paint a sample piece or two and confirm your
new paint will match before painting all the pieces.

Just curious - you haven't mentioned what your goal (or goals) for the car might be.
Is your '82 past the point of realistically being a Bowtie candidate?
It'd be a shame to start disassembling things and ruin a potential Bowtie winner.
As the owner, you're in the best place to make that decision of course.
