Larry, I pondered the same question. What I decided to do was 1) find an original set that was straight and as free of rust as possible. 2) media blasted the strut, primed and painted. 3) installed NOS bushing. Just like new.

Before I restored my originals I had ordered a pair from Paragon but wound up returning them, but they were VERY nice
and I would have used them without issue if mine had been damaged/bent.
If you can find NOS bushings, use them, which is what I did..

Search on 3775762, usually some on eBay.

In past years, Long Island Corvette had exact reproduction strut rods. A set are currently on my own 67 car. Don't know about now........maybe contact Zip.

Always ordered them from Volunteer Vette in Knoxville, TN. Excellent product and no complaints.
