                    You got your answer Mike, if you really want to be specific it is a type BT as indicated in above chart #25 and Harry's bag.

                      Do you know the difference between point style 25 vs 23? Coarse vs fine pitch?

                        Was wondering about that also -- A QUICK study shows the Type designated is for the particular material (alum., sheet metal, plastic etc.) and the hole size recommended for that particular application. Grouped as follows:
                        Type A
                        Types AB, B, and BP
                        Types BF, BT and C
                        Types D, F, G, and T

                          you got it gary. type 23 cut fine threads in the al, zinc other soft metals and plastics.
                          type 25 are coarse thread cutters. agin, thanks to all who enlightened my sorry ass. mike
