1974 Corvette Parking Lamp Part Numbers - Need Help

The 74 AIM shows L/R Lamps with GM part # 912309/912310.

Internet search and GM Corvette Parts Catalog show these part numbers are for a 75-79. Are the AIM #'s incorrect?

    Thank you - Vs

Link below is to a John Hinckley article re Assembly Instruction Manual. Of particular note is that section on "Running Changes" and the likelihood NO particular car was built to the A.I.M..

CRG Research Report - Understanding the Assembly Manual and Running Changes (camaros.org)

Is there a revision change date on your AIM sheet? If so, how does that compare with your VIN date? What PN are currently on your car?

Thank you Dave - the lamps on my car are replacements - and I'm trying to find the correct numbers for L/R originals. GM parts catalog shows 925143/925144 (L/R) part numbers.

74 AIM part # (referenced in my original post) again is 912309/912310. However, these same part numbers in the GM catalog are shown for 75-79. Revision on Aim sheet for these part numbers (912309/912310) is 3-24-73. Just trying to figure out what sets of part numbers are correct for 74 - the one in the AIM or the GM Parts Catalog numbers.

      Thank you again/Vs

Part Numbers in the A.I.M. are for PRODUCTION parts, that is parts used to originally build a car.

G.M. Catalog part numbers are for SERVICE parts, that is for parts that will fit and work. Service part numbers MAY also be production part numbers.

What part numbers are detailed in your Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide? If part numbers changed during production year, that might be identified.

          Dave -
No part numbers that I have found in the TIM&JG. Thanks for the explanation regarding production/service part numbers - I did not know that. I appreciate the clarification - Best regards,
          Vic
