Re: C-1 Roller front wheel bearings
I am no expert, and I am not sure how the different years in the C1 range may differ, but I ran into trouble on my 54 doing the conversion. Interference issues. I believe the lip seal. Perhaps you will have better luck. I ended up just getting some NOS ball bearings and races and replacing with the original type.- Top

Re: C-1 Roller front wheel bearings
Front wheel bearings for these cars have not been made in the USA for some time. Properly maintained the ball bearings last a very long time. Before Covid I put about 7 thousand miles a year on my 62 and front bearing issues. By the way I have a 5 speed and cruise 70-75mph on the highway! You can keep checking ebay every once in awhile a set of USA roller bearings will show up.- Top

Re: C-1 Roller front wheel bearings
Where is Ellen's?? I would call classic and verify. This subject has been discussed for years and I don't recall any made in the USA. But one can only hope! By the way I just checked Classic's website and found no roller bearings for Corvette- Top
