1966 Coupe Windshield Installation

I removed the replacement/cracked/leaking windshield many years ago and kept all the reveal trim retainers/screws (that were there) for this restoration. Can anyone answer these questions?

1. Is any manufacturer correctly making a tinted and LOF logo'd windshield? If so, would you please let me know who it is? The photos I have seen of the tint are not correct.

2. The car body is currently off the frame and being returned to original configuration. The windshield frame has 32 holes and I have 32 screws. However, the AIM shows only 27 locations for the retainer holes. What are the additional 5 screws/holes used for?

The tint should be a bronze brown color and not the blue color we usually see on replacement windshields. I don't believe I have judged a replacement windshield that received no deduction on the tint.

No one is making a tinted windshield with the correct tint band. As Mike said the correct tint band color is brown bronze color. It very difficult to find a correct windshield that falls into the date you need. IF all the other glass is clear you could use a clear reproduction windshield.
