Re: 65 Coupe upper and rear window channels replacement
Gary,
Did you install the lower channel green bubble into the frame and the screw through the lower fuzzy while working through the access panel? If so, how did you make surer that the green bubble was seated in the frame?

Re: 65 Coupe upper and rear window channels replacement
Except for the 5 or 6 bubble clips along the top of the window frame, and three or four bubble clips along the upper, rear, going down from the top, everything else is done from within the large access opening in the inner door skin.

Re: 65 Coupe upper and rear window channels replacement
Dave,
I received a email from NCRS from you asking about ventilator weatherstrips. I don't see anything on the DB and I have nothing in my PM inbox.
Did you ask this and can you explain it a little more? I'm old and need all the help I can get.
Kind regards- Top

Re: 65 Coupe upper and rear window channels replacement
I have decided that it looks much easier to replace the upper and rear window channels by removing the side glass. I am almost there any ways. might as well make it easier.

Dave,
Yes I did replace all the vent weatherstrips when I had the doors apart. I believe the last time I did them they came from Paragon. They were reasonable quality and I don't recall any issues.

Re: 65 Coupe upper and rear window channels replacement
I installed the upper and rear window channel. Vent post was never removed but did remove the side glass. The channel is tight in the door but now I cannot get the side glass to install into the front and rear tracks. Window is 1/8 in too wide. Do I need to set the green bubbles and new track tighter into the door to widen the window opening? I do not want to remove the vent window post.
