Where do these foam things go on a 69 coupe interior

Guys,

I've asked this question before but need a little more specificity on where these things go on my 69. I can't find them in my AIM. I've asked this before and I know they go in the rear 1/4 panel area behind the door but just not exactly sure where. Can someone help me out with this? Please see attached pics.

Here’s a shot of them from my 73 AIM, item #9. Not much help but it did help me confirm their orientation.

mine has these white styrofoam pieces. It is a July 69 car.

Thanks John. Very helpful. Mark, Mine had the white styrofoam pieces too right where you see them pictured. These black foam pieces go at the front part of the rear deck as you can see from John's photo.

Michael, glad to help out. I was actually a little surprised that they were used on your 69, a part of me thought they might have been part of the additional sound deadening material that was added to the 73 and newer C3’s.

While updating the 73-74 TM&JG we did review the white styrofoam blocks that were installed farther back as noted by Mark’s post. Not sure when they were deleted but it was pretty clear that they were no longer used in 73-74.

I'm fairly certain they came out of my car, but I can't be 100% because I didn't disassemble it. Can someone tell me whether or not these are in fact found in 69's?
