1967:
Do the lugs on the bulb (#1893) actually engage with a twist into the glove box socket? I know there is a slotted hot terminal but when I insert the terminal in the housing, the bottom of the slot goes in too far and doesn't engage the lugs on the bulb. The opposite lug doesn't have any slot in the plastic housing that would twist to secure either. I can insert the bulb straight in and friction between the terminal and the housing seems to hold the bulb in place, and it operates as it should, but I'm thinking road vibrations are going to work the bulb out of the socket.
