Looking at horns and how they are dated in weeks. How did Delco consider the first week in the month? If the month starts on a Thursday, is that complete work week count as week one? Thoughts? Thanks Kurt

Re: Part dates with weeks question - Horns
Don't know if DELCO themselves manufactured horns or just assembled horns from outside vendor parts or had an outside vendor produce horns for them, so date stamping practice might vary.
I've taken first week, as being any week including a DAY of that month. (Otherwise, I'd expect our practice to specify "first full week" of that month.)
My answer: don't know for sure. This will bump your question up.

Re: Part dates with weeks question - Horns
David,
I'm thinking the same thing. Week one would be any days of the current month, so if the 1st it on Thursday any part built on Thursday or Friday of that week would be week #1. Any part built the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday that same week would be counted as week #4 or #5 of the prior month.
Thanks, Kurt- Top
