    Which manual is best?

When preparing my car for judging, which manual would be most helpful? The TIM or JRM?

    Roger

Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide (TIMJG) is year specific to your car and tells "What to Judge". Judging Reference Manual (JRM) is generic to all years and tells "How to Judge".

    Short answer you need both.

Read JRM "Owners Advisory" section (first thing in front). Owners advisory will answer many of your, "how do I prepare for judging" questions.
