Memorial Day � Let�s Remember to Remember Our Veterans and Their Families

I think lots of us on this TDB are old enough to have folks we knew who served our Country (U.S.) and our Allied Countries (Veterans all for the same causeVeterans (and their families) who gave their lives (the Supreme sacrifice) for our Freedom! ALSO, those who have died after their service ended.

I would also ask those who may be so moved to please consider also saying a prayer for all our Veterans

Great sentiment and yes, we owe a great deal to all that have served.
Today, however, is to remember those that died while in uniform. Those that never made it home. Those that paid the ultimate sacrifice. As someone said...mothers wept, fathers cried in private and wives raised children alone.
There is nothing happy about Memorial Day.
