      Re: QR code?

I'm definitely not a facebook user. However, using seemingly ubiquitous QR codes to inform younger new and potential members is an excellent idea. Many restaurants I frequent, have ditched physical menus for QR. Not a problem for anyone with a smart phone. No smart phone? You're not a sought after demographic.

Recently spoke with several folks interested in NCRS at a restoration school and at our Chapter Charity Car Show. Younger people, Face Book users.

QR is a good way to target these folks.

Also spoke with several EX-NCRS members. Some current member's attitudes constitute our own worst enemy - let us not drive folks away.

A good point to remember Dave. Over the years our judging system has made enemies and created hard feelings with some, those are hard to keep and are not active recruiters for our club.

Thank you. Mike, for sharing our conversations about your chapter's needs. I am choosing not to use this platform to campaign for director of Region 6. However, on the topic at hand - QR codes - I, too, appreciate their value and support their use. My preference would be a code linked to the NCRS homepage where a link to the NCRS Facebook page could be provided for those who choose to follow NCRS on Facebook.
