1967 Corvette Big Block Dipstick color

Did all 1967 Corvette big block dipsticks have the salmon color tip? Were the white tips ever used in production for 1967. The manual says salmon. Would the later cars in production have the white tip?

Dont think anyone knows for sure. I have seen black & red ones But dont know if That is what was factory installed in 1967.

Gary, my original 67 L71 oil stick has a salmon colour all others one i seen are the same, Danny

all bowtie 65, 66 and 67 BBC's i've judged had the salmon colored plugs in end of their dipsticks. i've also owned five 65-67 BBC's with salmon colored dipstick plugs. mike mccagh
