63 glass date codes

Hey guys,

I am looking for a solid answer on whether the date code makes sense on my windshield, or if it has been replaced. All the glass except the windshield in the car is dated AI (September), and my car was finished December 4th of 1962. My windshield is dated CI, which is November. Since my car went down the line starting around November 13th, is it possible to have a windshield made in November and installed into the car within this timeframe?

I would believe it's ok. I have a March windshield in my April 20th car.

It makes sense and is within the TFP guidelines. Knowing if it is the original one installed at St. Louis and has never been changed is not possible unless you have a complete owner history and can ask.

You wrote the car started down the line around 11/13 and finished 12/4th. There was a strike for 7 days but they resumed production on 11/23, per the birthday book. What is your body build code? Just curious.

Interesting, so they worked the Friday after Thanksgiving day? My body # is 2172
