    Word Document

Why can't I attach a Word Document to a new post? Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks,
    Dan D.

Save it as a PDF then you should be able to post it.

For our forum... here are the allowed file types, as well as limitations:
(any image MUST fit fully INSIDE an 800x600 pixel box, or it will be REDUCED)

That's what I figured, but doc is allowed, so why not docx? There both Word documents.

I tried to post this question to the IT guys, but I failed on that too, as it came up on the TDB - not where it should be. Sometimes this software is beyond my little pea brain.

            Go figure.

            Thanks.

Word documents can contain Macros and Macros can run scripts. Malicious knuckleheads include destructive scripts in MS Word-macros, or in any MS-Office product (Word/Excel etc.)
