1964 coupe with added VINTAGE AIR

Where would the hood release handle (longer wire/cable) be located on a factory equipped AC car?

Factory AC cars have a longer hood release bracket so it hangs lower. That is so it will have room for the left AC outlet. It might also be moved inboard some but I am not sure of that.

OP was asking a question regarding FACTORY A/C...not aftermarket A/C.

Can I assume that both AC equipped cars and those without AC, that the CABLE LENGTH is the same for either bracket?

Do you need one? I think I have a spare original one that needs paint.

                        Jack,

Simply moved the hood release over to the right of the A/C vent. The vent cable pull was to the right of the cable pull and slightly angled.
