The reproduction Goodyear Speedway Nylon Cord tires from Kelsey behave just like the original tires. That is they will flat spot if left parked for several weeks or more. They catch in valleys in the road made by trucks. I can't speak to tread wear. I haven't driven them that much. All those characteristics are just like the original tires. They are made the same as original tires, so they behave like the original tires. Drive them a little to warm them up and the flat spots go away, only to come back the next time the car is parked for a week or so.

In judging they should receive no deduction, but you may have to point out to the judge that they are not supposed to assess the date code. A copy of the TIM&JG with that sentence high-lighted should carry the day. Tire dates and battery configuration are constant issues with over eager judges.

And, if you ever PV your car, be sure to put miles on the car (i.e. the bias ply tires) in the weeks prior to your judging.
You don't want flat-spotted tires to be an issue.
It wasn't in my case, but it may have been for another car.

      Just something to think about.

And I hated the way my 72 drove with them.

Windshields should be included too. Make it easier for everyone to get a trophy. Keep those over eager judges from giving points to the people and cars with matching dates.

Now play nice bus driver. They should lose points for configuration because RWL reops dont look the same side by side
