I recently started to disassemble a 63 coupe around 3500 VIN built early November 1962. The plugs on both of these motors are white and dated 10-62. Usually I have seen black plugs. I am pretty sure they have never been apart. I wanted to start a survey to see if anyone else has witnessed this.

Re: 1963 Headlight motor survey
Keep in mind that the motor housings are not dated. Only the gear boxes are dated so the motor housings could have been changed at any time. Have owned 63's dated from 8XXX to 14XXX and all of them were black connectors on the motor housings.

Re: 1963 Headlight motor survey
Joe,
Thanks for the response. As i said this is an early car and the motors have not been apart. This is also an unrestored car. I have other 63's as well all after VIN 7000. All have been black. I know of another 5000 mile car VIN 4000 with white plugs. That is why I have started this. Could be an early production thing? Or could be a fluke.
Thanks
