    Gas Tank Overflow Hose

B61C6410-93B2-4E92-A603-EC1C567D04EB.jpgF8660E0A-5F4E-4349-9E2F-066A118C8C91.jpgFound the gas tank overflow connected from the fill pipe going behind the rear lights. Managed to pull it down. Spring inside was completely rusted and swollen splitting the hose. Ordered a new kit. According to the aim it looks like hose is installed behind the passenger side rear bumper-ett exiting the rear bumper support hole? Also which end does the spring go?

Right, the judges can't tell how far up the spring goes.......don't forget the strap.

                Re: Gas Tank Overflow Hose

Here's my recently re-installed, original fuel tank overflow hose for my '65. The spring goes at the bottom end of the hose and the spring is placed about 1/2 inch into the hose.

                Hope this help.
