North Central Regional registration is LIVE - June 8, 9 and 10, 2023

Good day fellow Corvette fanatics! I am pleased to announce that the online registration is LIVE for the 2023 Regional in Rochester, MN. For those of you that have been to it in the past, we are in the same location for the arena and the hotel. The main difference from the 2016 Regional is that the banquet will be at the host hotel this time. More details are in the Nov/Dec issue of the Driveline which is posted online and landing in your mailbox very shortly.

A few important things to mention.

1. We are delighted to share that we have the judging field from WEDNESDAY all the way through until 9am SUNDAY morning. Come early, stay late! This makes it easier for out of town guests to get their cars to the judging field. Wednesday we will have the registration desk at the arena to help speed things along.

2. We will have lunches brought to the judging field for judges and tabulators. If you are a car owner and don't want to leave, please check the box for Friday, Saturday or both for lunch.

3. The Welcome Reception this year is an Italian Buffet, so COME HUNGRY Thursday night. It will be at the banquet facility that is attached to the host hotel.

ROOM RATES:
$119 per night for 2 Queen
$119 per night for 1 King bed
$129 for 2 Queen bed, Poolside room.

6. We have PLENTY of space for judged cars. The primary judging field is a hockey arena, and we have additional indoor space should the need arise. So don't be bashful, we would love to have you and your car join us in Rochester.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break.

Just a quick update on our registrations. So far, we have 23 cars registered. That is made up of:
C1s: 4 cars
C2s: 9 cars
C3s: 5 cars
C4s: 3 cars
C5s: 2 cars

I also have 19 cars that are verbally committed, so if everyone does what they say they are going to do, we are at 42 cars right now.

My '63 Z06 tanker is the one I was considering bringing, as it has been more than 3 years since it was judged in Frisco and I need to qualify it for French Lick so I can have 3 cars there. I'll think about it.

CAR COUNT UPDATE
We have had a busy few days gathering more cars for the regional. FEAR NOT, we have plenty of space for those of you that are still considering bringing a car to our Regional. Here is what we have right now. 25 total cars, 17 Flight, 4 PV, 3 Sportsman, 1 Display.

C1: 57, 59, 61, 61 (all Flight)
C2: 63, 66, and seven 67s (all Flight except for two display 67s)
C3: 70 (PV), 71 (Flight), 72 (PV), 81 (Flight), 82 (PV)
C4: 91 (Flight), 94 (Sportsman), 95 (Flight)
C5: three 2003 (two Flight, one PV)
C6: 09 (Sportsman)

Chris thank you for the update. If all of the regional judging chairmen would do the same, it would save those that have to travel by air, car rental and hotel it would make it worthwhile

I think the IT team should create some kind of report that publicizes that info. Wouldn't need anything other than car year and award pursued.

I agree Chris if the IT team has time. There is not an easy way (that I know of) to extract those numbers. In the past I have gathered those figures "manually". Don H.

Check out "all" of the available Event reports in the GRG. Interesting what reports are there, if one looks.
