Vehicle Information Kits - GM Heritage website

Good news! The "Vehicle Information Kits" (the technical spec pubs) are back on the GM Heritage Center website. Good decision on the part of someone at GM that understands car collecting.

Here is the link - https://www.gm.com/heritage/archive/...formation-kits

Even better! I stumbled upon this website that has free links to two C2 related GM tech references. The references are the "1967 Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual" and the "1967 Chevrolet Chassis Overhaul Manual". Both publications apply to full size Chevrolets, Chevelles, Camaro's, Chevy IIs and Corvettes. The files are huge 150 MB (probably too large to post to the database of restoration documents) and the pubs are huge, 650 pages for the chassis manual and 350 pages for the overhaul manual. Both contain a lot of info that is and is not in the Corvette Shop Manuals. While the pubs apply to 5 different car models they are well organized and it is pretty easy to find the Corvette related info. I could only find the pubs for 1967 but.... a lot of the '67 info pertains to earlier C2s. These are great pubs to have in your electronic reference files. Go to the site at the link - links to PDF download info for both pubs is on the same page. Enjoy.......

        Ed,
Did you download that link you provided? I did and it downloaded ransomware to my computer. I would highly advise that NO ONE download the link. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THAT LINK!!!!

          Leif,
Very sorry you got taken to a bogus website or page. I deleted the link out of my post. That said, I have the link saved and I also posted it to a FB page that I am a member of. I clicked on the saved and FB page link and both took me directly to the East Automotive Archive website and page that the two GM pubs are listed on - and.... the download links for the PDF files are good. I do not get any virus or malicious page warnings. Don't know what to tell you.

Leif - try this. Go to this website, https://www.workshopservicemanual.com/ it is the East Automotive Archive home page, scroll down to Chevrolet, then select Corvette - it will take you to a page that has 2 Corvette PDF file links - the 2 pubs I mentioned. I just went through that drill on my computer and it took me right to the links for the pubs - no issues.
