Re: 1970 LS5 4 Speed Diff Options
The owner's and service manuals show with the LS5 and M20: 3.08 (std.), 3.36 (n/a with AC). And with M21: 3.08, 3.36 (std.), 3.55, 3.70.
My LS5/M20 with AC came with 3.36 even though the manuals show 3.08 as the only choice with this combination. So apparently other choices were available.Mark Edmondson

Re: 1970 LS5 4 Speed Diff Options
Peter, ah yes now I see the asterisk. I had a 70 LS5 with the 3.36 gear and that was almost over kill, cant imagine what a 3.70 is like. Gary my car was #506!1969 Riverside Gold Coupe, L71, 14,000 miles. Top Flight, 2 Star Bowtie.- Top

Re: 1970 LS5 4 Speed Diff Options
Looks like quite a project for the expected $50-70k... maybe a low #3 or 4 car. And the front grille alignment is a bit wonky for a "no hit body".Mark, here you go.
