    Batteries are judged via Standard Deduction Guideline #2.

    There is a range of deduction percentages vs a range of reproduction/replacement characteristics.

    There is also a range of costs that reflect those characteristics.

    Suggest you evaluate point loss vs cost to determine what's best for you.

                  Dave I might be interested in doing that I already purchased a resto battery that didn't make it out of the garage during my restoration. Is there a restorer article or a you tube video that shows how to do this safely?
