C4's - locking lug nut referral instructions

I am trying to determine what years the McGard and the ANCOR instructions were furnished in the locking lug nut bag.
So far, I am down to two years of C4' of unknow manufacturer. The 1991 and the 1986.
I had one individual furnish me with American Acessories for the 1986, but this seems out of the norm.

    Pat,

1992 ZR-1 0042 has an AMCOR locking lug nut kit.

    Hope this helps.

Re: C4's - locking lug nut referral instructions

Gary, thanks for the information, it is all well taken, and I do apricate it. It adds to the data base that I have accumulated.

Dave, I am going to respond to you.

In my original post I noted that I did not think that American Accessories was a good answer for the 1986. I have just found out that American Accessories was a subsidiary of ANCOR. I also have a couple of unopened bags with the number of 10034341, and the instructions are ANCOR. These unopened bags are a clear with Blue Script. I have found out that these maybe bags for the Camaro and the Firebird as the same number bags for the Corvette were Blue. So, it is possible that the Camaro and the Firebird were using ANCOR, and the Corvette was using McGard in that time period. It really gets confusing because they two have been intermixed with each other. That is why, like Dave mentioned the quest is always to fine the original owner.
Thanks everyone for your help, we will plow on with this mission.

With regard to MY 1989, I just acquired a coupe that was sold by GM during their 2008 bankruptcy.

I have ordered the 1989 TIM&JG. A question...did the MY 1989 come from BG with locking lug nuts provided or, just the four locking center caps with the associated tool?

        Thnx for any info.

My original owner 1992 LT1 was originally supplied with an AMCOR wheel locking kit. Attached are photos of the bag, instruction sheet, and registration label.

Pat, I'm sure you already have a copy of an Amcor Instruction card from a 1992 Original owner. However, i am attaching photos of my card. It is printed on both sides, so I am attaching a photo of each side. Because Joe has already posted a copy of the lug nut bag and larger instruction sheet, I think the small card covers the 1992 model year. BTW my 92 is a June build, I took delivery in July.

Joe and John, thank you very much for submissions. I always like to add to my stuff. The one problem I am having is with the 1986 era instruction cards. I have come up with three different locking lug nut bags with the same number. As I had mentioned before, somewhere along the line someone told me that the Camaro and Firebird also had the locking lug nut kits. I am attaching photos of the three different bags. The two clear bags have different color numbers and are unopened and have the ANCOR instruction card. The blue bag is the one that is listed as the one for the Corvette. Any suggestions or direction would be appreciated.

For info, the GM #10034341 was once available in SERVICE (although SERVICE packaging may be different than PRODUCTION). It was discontinued in January, 1987 and replaced by GM #999057. The latter was then discontinued and replaced by GM #12498074 which has been recently discontinued without supersession. None of the above were ever specifically catalogued by GM in SERVICE for a Corvette or Camaro but can certainly be used for such applications.

The GM #10180888 was a PRODUCTION-only part number and never available in SERVICE.

Joe, thanks for your comments, the blue 10034341 has been verified by two original owners who received that bag when they purchased their Corvettes new.

Re: C4's - locking lug nut referral instructions

Joe, the blue 10034341 bags that I have encountered were from 1986. In my stuff, which is always questionable. I have 10034341 starting 1987 with a subsequent bag number in 1987 of 10080893-DCU-Red with Black Numbers. This bag again according to my stuff was utilized in 1988, 1989, and 1990.
Now according to the 1984-86 NCRS Judging Manual on page 76 it states, "The 1985 and 1986 locking lug nut kit consists of a blue bag with a part number 10034341". Not wanting to start off on another tangent, I have 14091982 as a bag in 1985.

Also, the 1987-89 NCRS Judging Manual on page 35 it states, "The 1987, 1988 and 1989 locking lug nut kit consists of a blue bag with a part number 10034341". As stated above, I think that Red Bag 10080893 is correct for those years.

It really gets confusing with these bags that were probably thrown away by the deal in its pre delivery dealer prep. Might be a good idea, not my call to address this situation by possibly eliminating the bag reference.
As always Joe, thanks for your input.
I know someone will disagree with what I posted, but that is okay as this is one of the places where we can hash out the diferences

For any given car, if the build sheet could be obtained, the kit originally supplied with the car might be shown by the 3 alpha character code seen on the bag (e.g. "PCK")

Joe, reference your statement about information on the build sheet.
My build sheet for my 1995 LT1 shows in block number 68 -Owners Packet the number 99.
The delivery bag number for the 1995 LT1 is 10236999 Domestic. This is the only number that I could find pertaining to a packet received with the Corvette. I could not find any reference to the wheel locking kit.

Thanks again for all your help with this topic.
