Good Evening Guys,
My '66 Hazard Flasher unit has an incorrect round plug-in metal flasher. The '66 Judging Guide states the correct flasher is a gold colored Signal-Stat 170 flasher. These metal flashers are date coded. Although flasher dates are not judged I'm still curious how to properly date match one with my car's build date. Does anyone out there know how to cipher these stamped date codes?
I've attached some file photos I have of a typical '66 Flasher unit. The last 2 shots show the date stamps of two separate flashers. Any help would be much appreciated.
Mike
