Tim,The 1970 Corvette bid to $110,000 and no sale if I remember correctly. This was a beautiful car that was owned by Dave Strickland at one time.
It was a stunning car to see in person and had great paperwork. It was the only one of the fantastic five Corvettes that didn't sell late Saturday afternoon.
The blue/blue 66 390 HP A/C Benchmark loaded coupe from the same collection was the buy of the auction in my opinion. Around 160k as I recall.- Top

If anybody has a ultra rare Chevrolet (Any Model) Mecum would be the last auction to take it to. Simply no coverage
for internet/phone bidders. JMHO LarryLarry

[QUOTE=Leo Guggenbiller (11875);926587]FWIW,
21 posts and not one word about “Our objective is the restoration, preservation, history and enjoyment of all Corvette models and configurations.”. Just an observation. Technical discussion has various definitions I guess.
Drive em safe
Then why did you read all the 21 posts? If you have been on this forum long you will see its technical information, Corvette news & general discussion. I for one like it that way. If a post dosnt interest you just scroll down. Have a good65 350 TI CONV 67 J56 435 CONV,67,390/AIR CONV,70 454/air CONV,
