    Duke
    Thank you.
I have a few months before the weather here is agreeable for car work. I generally avoid heating my garage. I can spend some of the time trying to locate a good source.

      Matthias.
Do you happen to have a picture of your car that shows your ride height.

      Thanks

        67 427/390 NON A/C.
Ride height is determined by a differential measurement (see AIM) of the suspension, independent of tire size, inflation, body abnormalities etc.
Example: with 30" wheels (ridiculously large) the fender measurement would be extreme. However the ride height suspension measurement would not change, because it is the difference between two points on the suspension.

I purchased a new main leaf spring from Eaton last year for my '65 because it had some minor degradation. I purchased the default "0" spring and I am now wondering if the ride height is going to be too high. I'm seriously thinking of putting the original spring back in since I know the ride height was correct. I'll just keep the new spring as a spare.

              James,

If you only use the Eaton main leaf, along with GM leaves 2-9, I doubt the ride height will be off by much.

                Rich,

Paragon sells 8" long bolts under P/N 14943K which indicates "The bolts in this kit are made longer to offer you extra threads and length for a greater ride height adjustment. " They are apparently out of stock right now when I checked. You may check other suppliers, but at least sounds like they are offered for situations like yours.

                  Bill
Thanks for that tip. I was thinking of just buying a new spring assembly from Eaton and using the dash 1 series based on some feedback shown in the replies to my post. With that, I thought of just buying new stock hardware from Paragon. I appreciate your tip.
I think I will just purchase the P/N you have shown and give it try first.
