1984/85 CB Radio

In 1984 Chevrolet offered in the new Corvette, RPO UN8-AM/FM Stero Citizens Band Radio for $215.00 and 178 were installed.
The 1984 Owner's Manual refers to this RPO in that if you have this unit a separate booklet was supplied with the Corvette. No photo was furnished.
No mention or photograph of this RPO was observed in the first and second printing of the 1984 Dealer's Catalogue with a printing date of February 1983.

In 1985 Chevrolet offered the same RPO UN8-AM/FM Stero Citizens Band Radio for $215.00 and 16 were installed.
The 1985 Owner's Manual does not mention this RPO.
No mention or photograph of this RPO was observed in the 1985 Dealer's Catalogue with a printing date of August 1984.

This RPO and installation figures information was located in the Corvette Black Book.

I am assisting a fellow member who is doing research on this RPO and he is looking for a photo of this RPO. Also, any help where we could find such a photo.
Any help would be appreciated.

Mark, great find. Thank you very much and I have forwarded the photos of the CB in the 1984 to the individual preparing photos of this item for the virtual presentation. Very rare option. In 1982 there were 1,987 CB units installed under RPO UN5.
