I have been getting a number of inquiries lately for SDRs for late 1950's and early 1960's Corvettes. Just a heads up, the GM shipping data does not start until 1962 at around VIN 6,000. Prior to that GM did not keep shipping records.

I'll add to that...we do find a few vins in the 5500 series but you have to lucky. It looks like Chevrolet did not incorporate their "new" system prior to January 1962...at least for Corvette.

I made a slight change to the description of the Shipping Data Report. I made the text Bold. "certain information for 1962 after number 6000 and through 1975 (with some exceptions (missing data) due to damage to the records)"

Hopefully that will eliminate some of the misunderstanding.

Thank you, John. That applies to Document Validation, also since we use these reports to assist us.
