C1 Seatbelt Clamp Plate and Hambone Numbers

    IMG_3519(2).jpgIMG_3606.jpg

I am aware that the brackets were in place prior to body painting and received some amount of overspray, but what was the finish they had? I assume they were cad plated?

    Thank you!

Rick, I recently removed all three hambones from my early 61. Why there are only three is beyond me. The car was produced mid November of 1960. They had as you stated the original color overspray and appear to have been cad plated. They have the ID54-300 numbers below the manufacturer name and location. Hope this helps in your quest for clarity.
I have no known clamp plates that came with the car and the ones I do have have no identifying markings whatsoever.
