My car is a 67 427/390 and I need help determining if this dipstick is correct for my car or not. I see at least 4 differences between this dipstick and what is shown in the current 67 NCRS JG:
Is this dipstick correct for my car or not?
Do I have reason to be concerned that this dipstick may not correct for my car?
If I showed up for Nationals judging with this dipstick would it pass with zero point deducts?
Am I taking the example shown in the JG too literally?
Thanks in advance for helping me with this.

- The number of little stamped circles after ADD and before FULL. The JG on page 138-139 shows two (2)one (1)spacing between the little stamped circles after ADD and before FULL. The JG shows very little spacing between the little stamped circles after ADD and before FULL, but this dipstick has a much larger gap between the little stamped circles after ADD and before FULL. Compare pictures 1 - 5 below. Pictures 4 and 5 are from the JG.
- The proximitycolor of the stick. The color of the metal in the JG example is brownish, but the color of this dipstick is silver. See picture #6.
