Thanks guys, so what or how do I determine the right numbers that supposed to be on the frame stencil? What color paint should it be also?

Either vendor will determine the stencil text from your year and VIN.

What does the 1975/77 Tech Info & Judging Guide say about stencil paint and application technique? If it’s the same as ‘66, it will say white and rolled, not sprayed. For ‘66, a not especially neat paint application is factory typical.Gary

I take it GM switched from white to yellow at some year between 67 and 75. By any chance do you know which year?

I found my answer in a previous thread; white in ‘73, changed to yellow in ‘74.Gary

You got it!

The 73/74 TIMJG revision team did considerable research on this topic and concluded what you see. Later, I believe aftr 79, we see orange paint used.
