    1971 LT1 AX emissions label

Looking for a really good picture of an original AX emissions label on the firewall. Please post it or send it to me in an email. Thank you 👍

    Jerry,
Not sure of the quality that your looking for and although these aren't my &LT1 "AX Emission Labels" they were previously posted . . . .
If you "by chance" come across somebody that's making a much better reproduction AX label, please let me know.
    I need one for my original owner 1971 &LT1 also . . .

Bay Lake Restorations has accurate AX labels in very limited quantities. 352-429-5695. Ask for Ian.

The Bay Lake reproductions are spot on.

Is it possible for someone to post a picture of the Bay Lake's AX emission label?

Is this label substrate material plastic, as original, or paper? Do you know if they reproduce any other emissions labels?

Original type material. As far as I know, this is all they have. He needed a correct one for his 71 LT-1 coupe, so he found and worked with a source who could make them correctly.

You probably don't want to know how much it costs to have labels done, especially in small batches and with the correct materials.
If it's $50 or less you're getting a deal; up to $100 would not surprise me for 1 label in order for them to break even.

                            Pat,
I understand the business case process for printing low volume restoration parts and the potential to also include the GM liability risk.
It's one of those things that restoration guys have to deal with when we want our classics to as original looking and performing as possible.

This label is one of those "value added" decisions that breaks down to a restorers "cost versus NCRS judging point deduction."
Would you happen to know the NCRS judging point deduction for a "non-original" label?

                              6 originality, 4 condition.
I would suspect "max" of the 5 points originality, but in real life I would suspect less.

Some people will pay for the correct parts as you well know. Some just pass the cost on to their customers.
