      Look under the dash for the cable going thru the firewall and give it a pull. Worked for me one time, you might get lucky.

          What Dan said. My pass side Bowden broke years ago inside the spiral so I just tug on the cable under the instrument panel. Good Luck! If it doesn't work and you can reach the female front under the car, and have a long arm, you can pull down on the female. A real pain.
