Re: They don't make 'em like they used to....
Hank, I was glued to this video, the idea they projected is similar to the idea I presented to our board, that was approved last year, in presenting c-1, c-2 and c-3's, to high school boys and girls who attend auto shop classes. I presented a pilot program that, IMHO, would tickle the senses of H.S. age kids, parents and administrators. Get those fertile brains out of their phones and computers and into the wonderful world of all things CORVETTE and in the sunlight. NCRS is an excellent tool to launch this program. Maybe after our organization is in a settled mode I might restart this idea.- Top

That was an interesting video. They touched on a lot of issues. The overarching issue or fact of the matter is that society and culture has changed dramatically. As for "they don't make them like they used to"...... cars today are more conveyance appliances - designed and built to be comfortable, efficient, safe, reliable, entertaining and idiot proof. They are also mostly boring, uninspiring, redundant, monotonous and expensive. I could go on for a long time on this subject...... it is complicated.... changes in our culture, society, education and value system have influenced a lot of aspects of our lives.... personal transportation is just one of them.Ed- Top
