    What keeps it from smashing the rubber under the side window? If you go to the Corvette Forum and search Hardtop Hoist you will see several methods.

      Thanks, exactly the feed back I was looking for. I've never owned a Vette with a removeable hardtop and honestly, I doubt I'd ever put it on once it's off. Soft top is fine for me as I don't drive in the winter or when it's raining. I'll check out the CF site.

        Try The Hardtop Shop (Glass works)
        they had a unit in their display at the Florida regional a few years ago.
