Great work by Richard Small and crew to bring these Florida events to the new Judging location at the AMCM. It is a great place centralized by an amazing car collection and enormous facility.

I had a short personal viewing of the museum a few years ago and it was fantastic.

P.S. FYI, The Mecum Kissimmee Auction is Jan 2nd-14th, so if you are going to that, stay a few extra days at the beach and come to the Winter Regional Jan 17th-20th for even more fun.

The Airport Hyatt Place has been added as a hotel option for this event. https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/fl...corp_id=G-NCRS. This hotel is on the Melbourne Airport property adjacent to the terminal. There is more information on the Florida Chapter Events page - hyperlink above. Kudos to Richard and Lynne for obtaining these hotel options and special event rates during the high tourist season in Florida.

Richard Small and I have met with the Hilton Rialto Place, and there is good news! We were able to get the Hilton Rialto Place Hotel to extend the discounted rate on the block of rooms to include the two days, January 15 and 16th, between the auction and our Regional event. So, for anyone considering staying in Florida after the Mecum Auction, you can take advantage of this discounted rate. You can check out our website for things to do while in the area at fl.ncrs.org.

2024 Florida Winter Regional NCRS Event January 17-20 To all 1974 Corvette owners:
It is the “Year of the ‘74”

The Florida Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society would like to extend a heartfelt invitation for all ‘74 Corvette owners to bring your amazing cars that the NCRS celebrates as the '50th Year of Recognition". Enter for Flight Judging or bring as a Sportsman Display. Please dust off all those 50-year-old Corvettes to debut in the first event of the year, in January, at our Regional event, for all to see and enjoy in 2024.
Enter your Corvette as a Sportsman, and get the Sportsman Display fee waived. Let’s see those cars in all their glory. We look forward to seeing you and your amazing car January 17-20 at the American Muscle Car Museum. All registrations include entrance to the Museum, on Friday afternoon. UPDATE!Deadline to register for our upcoming Nov. 3-4, Florida Chapter Event, is OCTOBER 14th. We are a month out from our 5-point Chapter event at the American Muscle Car Museum the weekend of November 3-4. We are very excited about the support of the NCRS community! We have filled our car roster and have some unique cars to judge and to see as displays. We look forward to everyone who has volunteered their time and expertise to this event. We welcome all those looking to judge! We have a great team of seasoned judges and judges looking for more experience. If you want the chance to see what goes into judging a car, we welcome Observer Judges to see it as it happens. No experience in judging is necessary. Come for the love of the cars. The Volunteer team lead by Lynn Berus is coming together. If you are coming and looking for a chance to help others set up for the event, she is still looking for volunteers to add to her team. We will have donuts and coffee in the morning and sandwiches etc. for lunch. We look forward to showing everyone a great time and a chance to see some very interesting cars.

C6 judging became effective in August 2023, after the French Lick Convention.
So Yes, it will be happening (if anyone registers their car, that is) at FL regional!

I registered my C6 for the event. Spoke with Don Rathman at our chapter meet, and Don has registered his car also.
